Raspberry Coconut Mashup in a Jar..! Sounds so tempting,Isn’t it!? This dessert recipe is one of my favorites and perfect for winters.  So this Christmas,on my blog I have come up with “Christmas Dessert Series” where i will be sharing my dessert recipes with you all. This is a very easy and quick dessert recipe that can be prepared in 10 minutes.

Preparation Time:10 minutes.Cooking Time: No cooking time, Servings-2.


For batter

Raspberry- 1 cup,

Grated Coconut:1 cup,

All purpose flour (Maida): 1 cup,

Butter- 3/4 cup,

Sugar-1/2 cup,

Baking Powder- 1 tsp,

For Layering-

Biscuit crumbs- 1 cup,

Coconut Powder-1/2 cup,

Milkmaid-1/2 cup,

Kiwi -1


Let’s first prepare the raspberry coconut batter. Take a bowl and add churned raspberries,coconut,sugar, melted butter,all purpose flour and baking powder. Make a proper batter of it and keep it aside.




Now let’s start preparing the layering in the jar. Place the first layer of biscuit crumbs or powder in the jar. With topping it up with coconut powder,milkmaid and raspberry coconut batter.




Decorate it with finely chopped cubes of kiwi.

French Onion Soup

French Onion Soup

Preparation Time: 5 minutes,Cooking Time- 10 minutes, Servings-2


Olive Oil-1tsp, Sliced Onion-2, Capsicum-1, Garlic-6 pieces, Cauliflower- 8-10 cloves (finely sliced), Corn Flour-1tsp, Butter-1tsp, Green Peas-1/2 cup, Olives-1/2 cup, Jalapenos-1/2 cup



Take pan & pour olive oil. Sauté it with finely sliced onions, cauliflowers, green peas, capsicum, olives, jalapenos and sweet corn. Now pour corn flour (mixed well with water) in the soup and add salt, pepper, butter. Add 3 cups of water in the soup and let it simmer  for 4-5 minutes on the medium flame. Garnish it with roasted and crushed garlic.


Your French Onion Soup is ready to be served.

Shyam Savera (Spinach Stuffed Potatoes)

Shyam Savera also known as Spinach Stuffed Potatoes. Spinach veggies can be relished best in winters. There are so many lip-smacking spinach curries and from them my personal favorite is Shyam Savera. So here , I am sharing the recipe of Shyam Savera (Spinach Stuffed Potatoes).

 Preparation Time: 5 minutes, Cooking Time: 20 minutes, Servings- 4.


Palak (Spinach) – 200 grams (without tail).

Boiled Potatoes- 6.

Corn Flour-3 tsp

 For paste



Garlic Clove (Kali)-5,

Ginger-1 small piece

Green Chilli-1,

Badi Elaichi(Cardamom)-1,


Black Pepper-3.

Javitri (Mace)-1 small piece.

 For curry

Kasuri Methi- 1 pinch,

Ghee- 1 tsp,

Jaifal Powder (Nutmeg)- 1 tsp,

Red chilli powder-1 tsp,

Groundnut Powder-1 tbsp,

Tomato sauce- 2 tbsp,

Cream (Whipped)-1/2 cup

For garnishing

Rose petals,

Cashew nuts,


Mint Leaves.


First take onion,garlic cloves,green chilli,ginger,tomatoes,badi elaichi (cardamom), cloves, black pepper and javitri (mace), grind it well in a mixie jar. Now in a pan add 1 tsp oil and mix the paste well,stir it slowly until it starts leaving oil. Add red chilli powder (for color),groundnut powder,tomato sauce &cream.  Now add water and stir it continously and add kasuri methi,ghee and jaifal powder,mix it well. Your curry is ready.


Make the paste of palak (spinach) and add salt. Add cornflour with potatoes and make a soft dough. Now heat oil in a pan and put 1 small ball of dough to make sure oil is hot. Make small balls (kofta) of potato stuffed with palak and deep fry it.


While serving cut the kofta into two pieces, keep it in a bowl & serve gravy from side. That’s why it is named as Shyam Savera.


Now garnish it with rose petals, cashew-nut, almond or mint leaves. You can relish Shyam Savera (Spinach Stuffed Potatoes) with Roti, paratha, naan or any bread of your choice.

Baked Pasta in a Mug

Baked Pasta in a  Mug.

 Preparation Time: 5 minutes, Cooking Time:5-7 minutes.


 Fusilli- ½ cup,

Spagetti-10-15 coils(long ones),

Rigatoni-1/2 cup,

Cheese Sheet or grated,

Chilli Flakes-2 tsp,

Oregano-2 tsp,

Black Pepper-1 tsp,

Corn Flour (to make white sauce)- 3-4 tsp.

Salt to taste.


First boil the pasta in a deep container for 9-11 minutes on a medium flame. In the meantime, we will prepare the white sauce, for that we need corn-flour and water. Mix well, make a thick batter of it and keep it aside. Now drain out the pasta and pour it in a mug.


Pour the white sauce on the pasta, sprinkle chilli flakes, oregano, black pepper, salt and mix it well. Now spread the cheese sheet or grated ones will also do. Preheat oven for 5 minutes and bake at 160 C  for 4-5 minutes.


Your baked pasta is ready.

Double Layered Chocolate Truffle Cake

Double Layered Chocolate Truffle Cake

Preparation Time: 10 mins,  Cooking Time: 30 minutes. Servings:4-5


1 Hide & Seek and  Parle G Biscuit
Baking soda small pinch
Cocoa Powder- 1 tsp,
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder (Dalchini) (optional)
1/2 cup cashew
2 tbs sugar
1 tsp butter (or ghee)
1 tsp maida (or atta)
6 (to 8) almonds
Dark Chocolate or Nutella- 1 tsp (One Tsp)



Apply butter or ghee inside cooker container and keep aside. Grind Parle-G and Hide-n-Seek biscuit in mixie. Take biscuit powder in bowl and add baking soda,cashew,cocoa powder,cinnamon powder,maida,sugar and mix it. Add milk in bowl and mix it properly. Process should be immediate after adding milk. Add batter in 2 container and keep it in cooker on mesh-plate without adding water. 


Take out rubber gasket and whistle from cooker lid and close cooker. Now put cooker on full flame for 5 minutes  and after that 20 minutes on medium flame. Turn off the gas and let it cool. Now take the cake from both the containers and place it on the plate.

 Now garnish the first layer of the cake with shredded almonds and icing sugar. Place the second cake on top of it,garnish it with shredded almonds and icing sugar. For garnishing melt dark chocolate and spread it on cake properly  and sprinkle shredded almonds.

Your delicious cake is ready to be served.
