Crackling Spinach

Crackling Spinach. This is one of the best spinach starters I ever had. This is very easy to make recipe ideal for parties, get-togethers and kids.

Preparation Time: 7-10 minutes, Cooking Time- 5 minutes, Servings- 4


Spinach – 2 Bunches (Chopped)

Notes – Shred the spinach, wash it thoroughly with water and drain well. Spread it on a muslin cloth and allow it to dry completely.

Seasame Seeds- 2 tbsp,

Dry Red Chillies-2, (broken

Sugar-2 tsp,

Salt-1 pinch,

Chilli Flakes- 1 tbsp,

Oil- to deep fry


Step 1 – Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan and add sesame seeds.

Step 2 –  Add dry red chillies,chilli flakes, powdered sugar and salt.


Step 3- Heat the oil for deep-frying in a deep non-stick pan and place some of the spinach in a strainer.

Step 4 -Dip the strainer in the hot oil and deep-fry for approx. 2 to 3 minutes or till the spinach is crisp.

Step 5-  Remove from the strainer and drain it on an absorbent paper.

Step 6 – Pour it in the plate and add dry red chillies, chilli flakes,powdered sugar and salt. Mix well.

Step 7- Serve it in a plate/ bowls and relish.



Oats Muffins

Oats Muffins!! Let’s get started!!

Preparation Time: 5 mins, Cooking Time-5-7 minutes, Servings-2.


Leftover Oats-3 cups,

Semolina/Rava – 1 cup,

Honey-1 tsp,

Chopped Dryfruits- 1/2 cup,

Apple -1 (chopped) or any fruits of your choice,

Cheese – Shredded or Stripes (Optional)


Step 1- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Grease it with butter/ghee and pour it in muffin tray.

Step 2- Bake at 180*C for 7 minutes.

Your oats muffins are ready. They are ideal and healthy for kids. Ideal for late night munching with hot cup of coffee.


Baked Pasta in a Mug

Baked Pasta in a  Mug.

 Preparation Time: 5 minutes, Cooking Time:5-7 minutes.


 Fusilli- ½ cup,

Spagetti-10-15 coils(long ones),

Rigatoni-1/2 cup,

Cheese Sheet or grated,

Chilli Flakes-2 tsp,

Oregano-2 tsp,

Black Pepper-1 tsp,

Corn Flour (to make white sauce)- 3-4 tsp.

Salt to taste.


First boil the pasta in a deep container for 9-11 minutes on a medium flame. In the meantime, we will prepare the white sauce, for that we need corn-flour and water. Mix well, make a thick batter of it and keep it aside. Now drain out the pasta and pour it in a mug.


Pour the white sauce on the pasta, sprinkle chilli flakes, oregano, black pepper, salt and mix it well. Now spread the cheese sheet or grated ones will also do. Preheat oven for 5 minutes and bake at 160 C  for 4-5 minutes.


Your baked pasta is ready.
